Leach Research Group

  Gennaro recently joined the Leach Group as an integrated biochemistry master's student. His project focuses on applying quantum mechanical calculations to receptor tyrosine kinases to predict inhibitor binding affinity and geometry. This work bridges the gap between chemistry and biology, demonstrating the application of computational methods in biological research.  

  Outside of his studies, Gennaro is very passionate about sports. He is currently an active football referee at steps 5 and 6 of the English football pyramid and an assistant referee at steps 3 and 4."
